A lot of times people push through their feelings to stay focused on meeting all their goals. This can work for a bit but eventually it all can feel like to much. We will work together on your having a space to feel your feelings so it doesn’t all feel so overwhelming.
-
Sometimes it can be difficult to communicate what you are feeling or even know why you are feeling that way. We will work on ways for you to label your feelings and be able to identify what it is that you are actually feeling.
-
Maybe this is the first time you have really struggled in school so it is affecting how you feel about yourself.
College can bring up anxiety, perfectionism, self-doubt, and the pressure to keep up academically while also trying to build friendships and figure out who you are.
We will work on identifying strengths so we build up your confidence.
If overthinking, perfectionism, or constant worry are making college feel even more overwhelming, learn more about anxiety therapy for teens and young adults.
