You don’t have to carry this all on your own

I'm Jillian Hove, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Maple Valley, WA who specializes in supporting anxious teens and young adults who feel overwhelmed by overthinking, people-pleasing, and relationship challenges.

I believe therapy should be a place where you don't have to overthink what to say or pretend everything is okay. A place where you can simply show up as you are.

I know what it's like to look like you have it all together on the outside while quietly carrying self-doubt, pressure, and the fear of disappointing others. As a teen and young adult, I was dealing with a lot but often kept what I was really going through to myself. I understand how lonely it can feel when you're carrying more than anyone realizes.

For more than 12 years, I've supported teens as a school counselor, helping them navigate academic pressure, friendship struggles, family expectations, and the many challenges that come with growing up.

You Already Have Strengths to Build On

Therapy isn't about fixing who you are. It's about helping you recognize your strengths, understand what's been keeping you stuck, and build the confidence to move through life as your authentic self.

Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

My approach is collaborative, down-to-earth, and personalized to you. I combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with somatic-based approaches to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and nervous system. Together, we'll explore the experiences and beliefs that shaped these patterns while building practical tools to help you manage anxiety, communicate your needs with confidence, and create healthier, more authentic relationships.

I also believe therapy doesn't have to feel heavy all the time. When it feels right, I bring humor into our work together because healing can include laughter, too.

Healing Can Happen In More Than One Way

Wild Flora Therapy is a virtual practice based in Maple Valley, Washington, serving teens and young adults throughout Washington State. In addition to therapy, I also offer healing retreats and individual yoga experiences that support nervous system regulation and create opportunities for healing beyond the therapy room.
